Present Perfect Tense (PPT)


Prefect Tense (PPT)
Use the prefect tense when :
†something happened in the past.
†the result of happening is still there.
Example :
1)    I have closed the door
( the result : the door is still close )
2)    Ayu has gone to Japan
( the result : Ayu is still in Japan )
҉The Affirmative form
Pattern : Subject + Have/Has + Past particple + Object
Example :
† He has bought a car here [He has the car]
† I lived in Japan [I knew Japan]
This tense often uses “for” and “since “ especially to express the continuing event(s).
_I have been here for 5 minutes.
_Layu has been here since 6 O’clock.
҉ The negative form
Pattern : Subject + Have/Has + not + past particple + object
They have not got a fish
†Andreas has not locked them locker.
҉the interrogative form
Paterrn : Have/Has + S + past participle + O
